Besting other eight five global beauties Twenty four years of age, Iris Mittenaere, lady from Paris won the 65th edition of Miss Universe crown. In front of a global audience, Iris was crowned as the new Miss Universe at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines who hosted Miss Universe pageant for the third time. Iris Mittenaere, who is pursuing a degree in dental surgery, is fond of extreme sports, travelling the world and cooking new French dishes. As Miss Universe, she will be campaigning for dental and oral care around the world.
The grand coronation of Miss Universe pageant held on 30th January 2017 saw Raquel Pelissier from Haiti as the first runner-up, while Andrea Tovar of Colombia was placed at second runner-up position.
