Kylie Verzosa is crowned as Miss International 2016; Barsha wins Missosology People’s Choice award
Rojin Shakya | The 56th edition of Miss International pageant has been completed. The event was been represented by Barsha Lekhi from Nepal and the good news is that she has been successful to earn Missosology’s People’s Choice award for Miss International 2016 after winning the Missosology People’s Choice online poll.
23-years-old Barsha earned this opportunity to represent Nepal after being crowned as Miss International Nepal 2016 at Miss Nepal 2016. In the grand coronation of Miss International 2016 that took place at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 27th October 2016.
Filipina beauty Kylie Verzosa declared as winner of Miss International 2016, leaving behind sixty eight beauties across the globe. 24-years-old, a pre-school teacher Kylie was successful to earn this year’s Miss International crown.

In the event Alexandra Britton from Australia was elected as first runner-up while Felicia Hwang from Indonesia saw as second runner-up. Brianny Chamorro from Nicaragua was positioned third runner-up while Kaityrana Leinbach from USA was seen as forth runner-up.
Other than the major awards in the event, Miss Nicaragua Brianny Chamorro won National Costume award while Miss Indonesia Felicia Hwang grabbed Miss Best Dresser award. Likewise Miss Perfect Body award went to Alina Chirciu from Moldova. Meanwhile, the candidates other than top five winners who made to Top 15 were: Finland, Mexico, Japan, El Salvador, Canada, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Russia, Thailand and Poland.
