Exploring the World Heritage and Culture at the 11th Graduation Fashion Show of Nepal’s first fashion college, Namuna College of Fashion Technology.

25th of November 2016 was the date when the fashionistas of K town got an opportunity to encounter with the essence of World Culture and Heritage on the runway. Forty one exclusive designs, mind boggling craftsmanship garnered by innovative ideas of creativity representing an individual country from various corners of the World, all gave a delightful treat to the eyes. The journey to reflect the uniqueness, originality, pride and honor of each country depicted by taking the inspiration from various elements of culture and heritage belonging to the respective country; travelled through Asian countries like Nepal, India, China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Pakistan to countries like Brazil, Panama, Venezuela, South Africa, America, England, Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey and others.

From Bunad Culture of Norway to monarchs of Ancient Egypt; the inspiration did came from Eiffel tower of Paris, France to Scottish warrior; from Spanish culture to twin tower of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; beautiful and eye catching representations were taken from historical monuments and its architectural beauty, national birds, animals and flowers, traditional dresses, dances, jewelries and various other elements of culture and heritage were seen beautifully been depicted in each dress. Each of forty one designs flaunted on the runway of Incantevole Creazione was a stealer of the show.

It was 11th season of graduation show of Namuna College of Fashion Technology and was been organized and managed by 11th graduating batch. It was an academic show been presented as the part of BFD course, a bachelor level course in fashion designing.

Other than the creative session, the event had other four rounds as well. The first set of the dresses that took the runway had clean lines, simple colors like black, white and grey but yet looking sophisticated and stylish. The round called Boho-resort wear presented the dresses inspired by Bohemian culture as well as tropical life. Apparels in cool colors, bold floral prints, and feminine accents with cool beach vibes were the highlights of this round. The Red Carpet sequence had evening gowns focused on elegance, grace and femininity. The dresses were looking pretty having also the elements of boldness and glamour compatible to the red carpet environment.

The event been Choreographed by Rojin Shakya had forty female and eight male models to carry the dresses and execute as beautifully as they were been created. The show also saw the walk of the Premiere fashion designer and Founder Principal of Namuna College, Mrs. Gyani Shova Tuladhar who walked with the Premiere actress of Nepali movie industry Mrs. Bhuwan Chand and senior artist Mrs. Laxmi Giri carrying the beautiful designs created by Mrs. Gyani Shova. The show finally got wrapped up with the walk of German based fashion designer Stella Maris Hafele as the show stopper.
