What major changes have you experienced within yourself after you took part in Nepal’s super Model Contest 2015 and being the winner?
Having been through these experiences I’ve learnt one thing in my life that, winning is not everything and strength doesn’t come from winning. When you go through hard times and decide not to surrender, that is strength.
What made you join this competition?
I love to look pretty, wear beautiful dresses and being noticed. And what else could be the best place than this kind of contest to live those moments.
What are your plans for your modeling career?
Being a fresher in modeling, I plan to spend more of my time taking trainings from various people in this field and enhance my modeling skills.
Would you be seen in Nepali movies in future, if yes how and if no why?
Life is all about grabbing the opportunities. If the opportunity in Nepali movies helps me to enhance my career in a positive way then I would definitely love to be a part of it.
What would you be better, as a runway model, music video model or a TV commercial model, why?
I am more interested in becoming a runway model because I believe I can carry all sort of dresses. I seem to be confident when I am out there in front of the mass.
Personal quote of inspiration: ”If you can dream it, you can do it.”
Herself: I am a girl who sees fun in doing everything. I am an optimistic and ambitious person who always puts her best step to forward. A girl who is constantly working on her improvement for whom challenges are not scary but they actually motivate her.
Being Youth of today: I feel lucky to be a part of this generation where everything is so modernized and developed. Opportunities are out in the air, the youths just need to be confident enough to grab it.
Being beautiful: For me being beautiful is being loved and accepted by people who love beauty. What convinces me of being beautiful is being understanding and understandable, being likable and liking, being interested and interesting. Beauty does come in all shapes and forms but what really stands out and lasts is the truth and the characters the “Beauty” holds. The true weight of beauty, to me, is the likability, lovability, understandability.
Being fashionable: It is not about being beautiful but creating something interesting for people to look at and think about.
