Mokshya bags – Best Film of the Year on 6th D Cine Award 2071 organized by Chhaya Chhabi Creation in the capital. Cha Yekan Chha and Nai Nabhannu La 2 bags the highest number of awards.
Mokshya bags ‘Best Film of the Year’ on 6th D Cine Award 2071. Prabin Shrestha of Mokshya, won the best debut director while Koshish Chhetri also won the public choice award or popular actor of the year. Cha Yekan Chha and Nai Nabhannu La 2 bagged the highest awards in ‘6th D Cine Award 2071.
Each movie has bagged five awards in five different genres. Alis Karki of Chha Yekan Chha won the award as best background music award, Raj Ballav Koirala as the best villain, Shaile Acharya as best character actor award, Dipak Raj Giri on the best writer, and Purushottam Pradhan as best cinematographer. Likewise, Bikas Acharya won the award as the best director from Nai Nabhannu La 2 while Priyanka Karki was announced Best Actor in a supporting role female from the same movie. Basanta Sapkota, Prem Pariyar, and Dr. Krishna Hari Baral from Nai Nabhannu La 2 also bagged Best Musician, Best Singer, and Best Lyricist respectively.
Aryan Sigdel for Mahasus won Best Actor of the Year. Similarly, Keki Adhikari clinched the Best Actress of the Year award and Durga Pariyar was honored as the Best Singer of the Year in the award ceremony.
Deep Tuladhar won the Best Sound Mixing Award, Shyam Aryal as best debut actor, Wilson Bikram Rai as Best Actor in a supporting role male and Umesh Khadka won the Best Actor in Negative Role.
Shankar BC for Biteka Pal was able to grab the Best Choreographer award while Bipin Malla won the award as best editor.
Chandra Pant and Pooja Sharma were able to win the award of best fight director and best debut actress, respectively for Lofar and Madhumas.
Maun was recognized for the jury award while Cinematographer Sanjay Lama and actress Namrata Thapa and Actor Arpan Thapa bagged the critics’ award.
The organizer has felicitated Actress Mithila Sharma and designer Sundar Shrestha with the Cine artist honor 2071. Likewise, Journalist Bidur Giri bagged Chhaya Chabi Cine Journalism Award 2071.
The award ceremony is organized by Chhaya Chhabi Creation in the capital. Actors of movies like Adhakatti, Love You Baaba and Jindagi Rocks have performed dance in the award ceremony.
